MHC Mobility Netherlands appoints Dwight de Weerd as Chief Commercial Officer

MHC Mobility is pleased to welcome Dwight de Weerd as its new Chief Commercial Officer, bringing with him more than 25 years of international leadership experience across the automotive, leasing, rental and fleet management sectors.

Throughout his career, Dwight has held a number of senior commercial and leadership positions, developing extensive expertise in driving business growth, managing international operations and leading organisational change.

A significant part of Dwight’s career was spent at LeasePlan, where he held senior positions at both country and global level, including four years each as Commercial Director at LeasePlan New Zealand and LeasePlan Belgium. Most notably, as Global Segment Director for SME & Private Lease, he was responsible for driving growth and profitability across 26 countries, leading international commercial teams and developing global strategies and partnerships.

Dwight went on to serve as Managing Director of Stern Automotive, the largest Mercedes-Benz dealer group in the Netherlands, where he oversaw large-scale operations and strategic change. More recently, he held the position of Interim Country Director for Germany at Petit Forestier Group, leading efforts to improve operational performance and strengthen the management team.

Known for his hands-on leadership style and strong commercial focus, Dwight brings valuable experience to MHC Mobility as we continue to strengthen our capabilities, enhance our services and respond to the evolving needs of our customers.
